Everything you wanna know...and more!

I had to write a way long descriptive essay all about me, and being really random! I thought i'd share it on my blog just to say a bunch about me!! here goes!!

My name's Amanda. I'm an ordinary girl, but unlike anyone you've ever met. I love the simple things in life: The smell after it rains, the sunrise and sunset, the mountains, the beach, the thunder and lightning. I love the simple things that everyone else takes for granted. I truly don't know where I'd be without music. I play the piano, and the harp. When words can't express something, music comes into play. I don't believe in love at first sight, but I believe when you find that someone you're meant to be with, you will know. I learn from my mistakes, and really try to live my life to the fullest each and every day. We all have times in our life when we fall off the right track, but with the help from friend(s) and/or God, you can get back on that right track, and be happy as ever! I don't think life is about keeping score. It's not about how many friends you have, or how accepted you are. As strange as it seems, I do NOT judge. I love listening to people, and giving advice. Life is about who you love, and who you hurt. It's about Friendship..used as a sanctity or a weapon. I don't think we should look back and grieve over the past, for it's gone. Don't be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. But live in the present, and make it so memorable that it will be worth remembering. Find JOY in the JOURNEY. I believe in guardian angels, and believe everyone has one. I've experienced a lot of things in this dark world: Death, Betrayal, Loss, Pain, and Heartache. I've also learned a lot from them. I think that's what life is really about. LEARNING and PROGRESSING. I only have a couple close friends--i put myself down for not putting myself out there and meeting new people. I guess you could say I put up a barrier because I can't stand being hurt. I have high morals and standards. I love to laugh! Smile. Because you could always make somebody's day. I'm not a drama queen. I'm also not one of those girls who say, "I hate drama," but create it. I don't think you should waste your time caught up in what everyone else thinks about you. Know who you are, and stand for it. If you're ever constantly trying to please other people, you will get nowhere. I love to dance. It's very therapeutic to me. I also enjoy spending time outdoors. I am a major Jazz Fan! I love all kinds of sports, and love volleyball. I love hiking, running, and camping. My favorite thing to do is ride fourwheelers. I love going on the "guys trip" with my dad, uncles, and my dad's friends. My favorite place in Utah is Bear Lake. Spending time with my family is priceless, plus boating! I adore old, antique cars! My favorite car is a 67' camaro. Car shows are the best to do in the summer. While having a pity party, i usually watch One Tree Hill, eat Peanut Butter Twix, and drink Diet Coke. I love to swim. I love to travel. My favorite vacation so far is The Bahamas. I look forward to visiting Kenya, Africa in the future. I believe everyone should do things for other people. Not only does it make that person happy, it makes you happy, more humble, and a lot more grateful for what you have! I LOVE SERVICE! I am obsessed with ice cream--preferably jamocha starbucks icecream from Albertsons! If there is anything I want right now, it's a puppy! My favorite singing group is Rascal Flatts. I love all kinds of music! If you ever need anything, whether it be to vent, to ask for advice, or just to talk, i'm always here!
