"never regret anything.
because at one point,
it was exactly what you wanted."

i feel like i have been really good at avoiding regret.
i apologize to those i've wronged,
immediately after i realize i hurt them.
&& i strive to think before i say or do things more often.

however,
i feel like one of the hardest and most courageous things
is to wish you would have said something to someone
before it was too late.

regret comes in all shapes && sizes.
some are small:
like when we do a bad thing for a good reason.
some are bigger:
like when you let down a friend.

some of us escape the pain of regret
by making the right choice.
some of us have little time for regret
because we're looking forward to the future.

sometimes we have to fight to come to terms with the past,
&& sometimes we bury our regret
by promising to change your own ways.

BUT.. our biggest regrets are not for the things we did.
but, for the things we didn't do.
things we didn't say

that could've saved someone that we care about.
especially when we can see the dark storm
that's headed their way.

♥ xoxo.

  4. i have lots of regrets. mostly because i was a brat when i was a teenager and it pretty much ruined my teenage years. it for sure wasn't exactly what i wanted, and nothing good came of it. i hate living with regret, but i do.......and it sucks.
