i think i have a problem.
of extensively obsessing over grammar.

i am aware i often lack capitalization,
but this is something completely different.

when people say things wrong,
it takes everything out of me
to refrain from correcting them.

because i'm sure that would be quite bothersome.

1. i am hiring people to work at state farm.

as résumés quickly fly in every minute
i look over each and every one.
i feel kind of raunchy for saying
that i was sorely disappointed.
we're in college here, people.
there are FREE templates online.

2. my chemistry teacher
says "there"
when it is completely unnecessary.
after every. single. sentence.

"you see that there?
that's a protein cell there.
that cell there has DNA there.
have any questions.....there?"

my friend isaiah and i
just laugh and laugh

and my nerdy self
thinks,
"that is so not necessary."

i guess it's just good that
i'm an English major.
