Amanda is my name.
I'm an ordinary girl, but unlike anyone you've ever met.
I love the simple things in life:
the smell after it rains
the sunrise && sunset
the mountains
the beach
and the thunder && lightning.
I love the simple things in life that everyone else takes for granted.
I truly don't know where I'd be without music.
I play the piano && the harp.
When words can't express something, music comes into play.
I don't believe in love at first sight,
but I believe when you find that someone you're meant to be with,
you will know.
I learn from my mistakes
I try to live my life to the fullest each and every day.
We all have times in our life when we fall off the right track,
but with the help from friend(s) and/or God,
you can get back on that right track, and be happy as ever.
I have always believed life is not about keeping score.
It's not about how many friends you have
or how accepted you are.
I do not judge.
I love listening to people,
and giving advice.
Life is about who you love and who you hurt.
It's about friendship, that is used as a sanctity or a weapon.
I believe we shouldn't look back and grieve over the past--because it's gone.
And we shouldn't be troubled about the future, because it hasn't come.
But we should live in the present, and make it so memorable that it will be worth remembering.
I do strive to find JOY in the JOURNEY.
I believe in guardian angels, and know everyone has one.
I've experienced a lot of things in this dark world:
death
betrayal
loss
pain
and heartache.
I've also learned a lot from them.
&& that is what life is all about.
Learning
&
Progressing.
I only have a couple of close friends.
I put myself down for not putting myself out there and meeting new people.
I guess you could say I put up a barrier
because I cannot stand being hurt.
I have high morals and standards
and I love to laugh.
I smile..because I always think it could make somebody's days.
I'm not a drama queen
or one of those high maintenance barbies.
I don't think you should waste your time caught up in the world,
and what everyone thinks about you.
Know you who you are.
and stand for it.
Because if you're constantly trying to please other people,
you will get nowhere.
I love hiking,
running,
camping,
and spending times outdoors.
Lately,
I have been thinking about my life and the mark I will leave on it.
I hope when I pass into the next life,
people will think,
"she made a difference in this world."
I hope to accomplish a lot,
to serve a lot,
and to help anyone who is EVER in need.

i am engaged to a wonderful man..

is my best friend,
