My Mom

My mom is one of my best friends! I don't think I ever would have admitted that until now. If she wasn't the person raising me, I would not be the person I am today. I truly believe I was set here, in this family, for a reason. It's a given. I wouldn't do the things I do, believe the things I believe, or even understand important aspects of what your life is all about. She seems to always remind me that Friends will come and go but Family will always be there. She is truly the most amazing person I've ever met. She does so much for me, just to keep me satisfied. She puts up with so much. She gives me advice about dumb boys, she helps me with any kind of problem I have, and she knows what to do in any situation. I have never met anyone in my life that always knows what to do in a tough situation. If it weren't for her, I don't think I would be that great of a girl! I don't think my morals would be as strong, and I don't think I'd believe what I do now if it weren't for her! My mom is one of the best friends I have ever had. I'm so glad we finally got over this stupid teenage issues fighting every day over stupid little things, and learned how to love each other. I know there will still be times when she probably wants to kill me, but for the most part we get along. If I were to give advice to anyone right now, build a strong relationship with your mother, grandmother, or a mother-figure in your life. Mom's are simply amazing in simple ways. If you try your hardest to strengthen your relationship, and start being closer with your mother, it'll make the biggest difference to you and the way you live your life, and will make you a good mom in return.
