The People you Meet

Throughout your life, you're going to be meeting hundreds, maybe millions of people. Some will forget you. You will forget some. But we can stop that from happening. With the help of journals, blogs, and anything else that you will always look back on, will help us from not forgetting this people. I have realized lately that you can learn something from everybody you meet. Sometimes it's not always good. I try to learn something from every single person I come in contact with. If they are a bad person, betray me, I can still learn something from them. Most of the time when it isn't a way to make myself better or a GOOD trait I learned, I will learn from someone and learn to not make that mistake with my life, because I have seen the damage it could do. I learned patience from one of my teachers. She showed me that if you're always in a hurry, you'll never have time to enjoy the beautiful earth you live in. I finally learned and found out who I was with the help of family and friends. Even through God. I learned honesty from my mother. She taught me to be honest in all I do, even the simplest things that you think won't make a difference, will in the eyes of those you trust and love. I learned trust from Sid. I had a lot of bad things happen to me Sophomore and part of Junior year. I didn't trust one person. I hardly even trusted myself. He showed me to trust again, and that without trusting anyone, you won't ever have anyone to help you through what you're going through. I learned love from Shelbi. She has taught me that us being best friends is all we really need. It's not about clothes, school, how smart you are, or how big of a total nerd you are!! Even if you learn one small characteristic or trait from someone, it could change your life around.

As Thomas H. Huxley said, "Try to learn something about everyone, and everything about someone."
